PAJAMA SAM 2 Homepage
The caped toddler returns
By JAMES
ANTHONY
The extremely likeable Pajama Sam
has a big problem. He's scared of thunder and lightning and the huge storm that
hovers over his house is making him nervous. So, the adventurous chappie decides
to visit the weather makers and get them to stop the bad weather.
So off
the young fellow heads, in his superpowers-giving red cape, and tries to get in
touch with the boffins at World Wide Weather, a storm-stirring factory in the
sky.
Unfortunately, Pajama Sam presses a wrong button and sets the
world's weather upside down - there are storms where it used to be calm, snow in
tropical Saigon and even sunshine in a wintry Seattle - so it becomes even more
important for our young hero to put things right.
During his adventure
he has to solve a host of puzzles - like trying to get past the officious
gatekeepers, find missing pieces of machinery and track down jigsaw parts.
The graphics for Pajama Sam 2 are really nice and will keep very young
to young children amused as they try to find their way around the weather
factory.
They will come across snowmen making - snow, of course - a
sunshine canning area and get to hone their recognition skills by matching
formulae to create rain, storms and other weathery phenomena.
One
particulalry nice moment is where Sam disappears up a track into some clouds and
all you get to see is his blinking eyes.
This may be tougher than the
original but it is another fun Humongous product for those between three and
eight years.
